Easter Sunday Reflection

I remember my neighbor asking me about the Easter Sunday. She’s like six years old that time and I really had a difficulty in explaining Easter to her. She also told me, “I want the love of Jesus, how can I get it?”
Friends, may we be like her seeking for truth and seeking for God’s love.

On this day, Easter Sunday is the greatest and principal feast of the Christian calendar where the love of Christ vividly manifests to all Christians.  Thus, this celebration represents that Jesus rose from the dead and it also reminds us about the end of forty days of fasting also called as Lent.

Easter Sunday commemorates Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and it means a lot for us to be renewed and saved from sins.  As we all know that Jesus obeyed the will of the Father and sacrificed to save mankind. He died and hanged on the cross to pay for the penalty of human sinfulness.

Today’s Easter, Christians gather as one to celebrate and receive the gift of God. The mass is usually wrapped with very lively songs and led by chosen and exemplary choir.  (Oh, I also sing from the heart, as in with all the feelings.)

We also wake up very early to witness the sunrise, and everyone gets excited to it. While you are reading this article, people are also greeting “happy Easter?”  Don’t forget the traditional eggs with colorful arts on them. These eggs are special and commonly hide from the children as if these eggs are left by the Easter Bunny. Then they’re going to search these Easter eggs and excitingly claiming them as gifts.

1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Friends, let’s honor the Father God who sent His only begotten son. Let’s commend Jesus who has been our first lover. We should not waste His sacrificial love for us. Let’s live with the heart of Jesus.

Praise Him!
Glorify Him!
Thank Him!
Exalt His name!

Happy Easter to all!
