Thanksgiving Day Experience

with my colleagues
Thanksgiving Day is a national day celebrated primarily in America and Canada as a way of giving thanks for the blessings of good harvest of the preceding year. Several other places around the world also observe similar celebration such that, Americans and Canadians celebrate to where they are. Thanksgiving Day has been long celebrated in secular manner as well. In the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November and on the second Monday of October in Canada.

Since I work with people from the United States and Canada, I’ve got to experience the Thanksgiving Day. I attended two celebrations. One in Lecheng’s and the second was at our center Chongwenmen.  Big Turkeys, sweet potatoes, apple pie, bread, chocolates and other special dishes were served on the table.

We talked about what we are thankful for and who we are thankful for before grabbing a bite. My first thanksgiving experience was amazing – a day of two celebrations! Also, I’ve got to meet other trainers from different centers and met some of my on boarding group. Finally, it's time to eat turkey!
