El Nido, Palawan Philippines Paradise Experience

Big Lagoon
Before arriving in the Philippines, I had no idea where to spend my first week, what I only planned was to unwind in Manila for a few days (I won’t recommend to unwind in Manila because traffic here is the worst!) then off to my hometown. But, something came that made me change the gear. I passed by a travel agency offering for Palawan trips. Upon my curiosity, I looked for flights going to Puerto Princessa so I can budget the costs.

To help me put things together, I tried to look for a travel agency online and there, I stumbled upon a travel agency. I called them and deposited the money, paid Php6,499.00 for tours and accommodation. It's more expensive than my Coron Tours. I liked my accommodation because it did not look like a typical hotel but a private cottage, instead. Tip: plan and book ahead of time with other friends to share expenses.

Finding a Travel Agency

First things first, you have to do a research. Read feedbacks or reviews about their services and compare the prices. Check their credibility before you go for them. Don’t be scammed and never trust that fast.

El Nido Accommodation

For a solo joiner, I have made sure my accommodation would be solo as well as I added Php2,400 for a private room. Not to be dismayed, I loved my accommodation. It’s simple although the hot shower wasn’t that working very well, sometimes. I got booked at Jurias Pension located at Barangay Maligaya, El Nido Palawan. You can book directly through them and don't forget to mention me to get a discount.

The disadvantage of going solo is that, people will ask you why questions:
1. Why are you travelling alone?
2. Where is your girlfriend?
And people will tag you as a loner where in fact solo travellers are adventurers and friendly. Not only that, they will remind you it's better to travel with someone special and the list goes on. I could not blame them, though.

Nevertheless, it was a great paradise adventure! If you put me in the water, you have a better company! Thanks to Pink Purple Travel and Tours and Jurias Pension for helping me sort out everything. Definitely, it's my best tour ever!

Next destination hopefully is Coron, Palawan. To God be the glory great things He hath done.
